About Ibrahim

What began as a young boy's passion for horses in Jordan has grown into a career competing at the highest levels of show jumping.

Ibrahim Barazi began riding at the age of six in Jordan before moving to the United States at 17 to pursue higher education. While earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from George Mason University, he continued to refine his horsemanship, laying the foundation for the professional career he has built today.

After moving to the United States, Ibrahim trained under Olympic gold medalist Joe Fargis, whose mentorship helped shape his philosophy as both a rider and trainer. The emphasis on horsemanship, correct fundamentals, and the thoughtful development of every horse continues to influence his approach today.

Today, Ibrahim competes at the FEI 5* level, campaigning horses at many of North America's premier competitions while developing young horses through to international Grand Prix competition. His continued progression reflects years of dedication to developing horses with patience, consistency, and a commitment to excellence.

Based between Middleburg, Virginia, and Wellington, Florida, Ibrahim continues to develop horses and riders while advancing his career on the international stage. The same passion for horses that began in Jordan continues to shape his approach today, driving his commitment to exceptional horsemanship, continual improvement, and cultivating successful partnerships between horse and rider.
